coach: Mark Richt, tenth year. record is 96-34, with a 7-3 bowl record (that's a bowl every year! i know mathz!). he's a BFD in the SEC, since he has the longest tenure.

he has been said to look like actress Helen Hunt. and it is true.

someone needs to look into this.

quarterback: #11 sophomore Aaron Murray. had a good season for a freshman - 61.8% pass completion and named SEC's 18th best player. has future Heisman potential, but needs help from his offense.
hottie index: sexy. 8/10

yes, absolutely.

the low-down: they had a poop 6-7 season last year, and lost the Liberty Bowl to Central Florida (the score was 6-10. worst. bowl. ever.). but with a rapidly improving and really good-looking starting quarterback, Georgia's on track to do better this time. which is great, because the pressure is on Richt to do bring home some wins. everyone is losing their shit about how awesome new recruit freshman wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell is going to be. we shall see. it gets rough later in their schedule - Florida, Auburn, Georgia Tech, but my guess is that easy teams will up their rankings for a few weeks beforehand. the real test and what the decision of what bowl they get to play will depend on those later games.
first game: Boise State in Atlanta. what the fuck? someone's playing a legitimate first game? don't the good teams pay bad teams to get their seasons started with a win? Boise State is ranked 7th and they look pretty solid. i'm calling Georgia losing their first game of the season. saaaaaad.
