coach: Chris Petersen, sixth year. is kind of a badass - the only coach to ever win the Paul "Bear" Bryant National Coach of the Year TWICE. he coached the Broncos to two Fiesta Bowls, 2007 (fuck you guys) and 2010. was given an offer to coach at Stanford, but gave it up to stay at Boise State. is also rather handsome.

quarterback: #11 senior Kellen Moore, who's pretty high up on the Heisman watch list this year, as he was a finalist last year (the Heisman Award is the most prestigious award that a football player can receive). he's been named the top player to watch out for in Sporting News' annual top 25 list. 

hottie index: 2/10... would be higher if he did not have the most atrocious overbite in the world.

the low-down: so like... the Broncos are good. really good. they've had a consistent couple of seasons, and only lost one game last season - to Nevada. to be fair, only three of their opponents (including their bowl game, the Las Vegas Bowl, lame.) were even ranked, so it's not that impressive. only thing that looks slightly worrying? two of Kellen Moore's go-to receivers are gone, so they'll have to break in the n00bz. NO SURPRISE, their schedule is easy as a Tri-Delt (yes i just did): the only game that looks menacing is against TCU. aaaaand literally that's it. i hope they don't go to a BCS Bowl, because they really don't deserve it until they beat someone worth talking about.
first game: Georgia in Atlanta. Boise State will probably win, but it will be a test of just how good they'll be this year.
